Monopoly GO is trading its usual board-game routine for Springfield this summer, with the Simpsons crossover running from June 3 through July 29, 2026. There's plenty going on across the event, but the Monopoly Go Partners Event is likely to remain on many players' radar while they chase the new themed rewards. Simpsons Run is the standout side activity. Instead of circling properties, you're pushing Bart along a purpose-built skate track, trying to turn every roll into something useful before the limited-time prizes disappear.
A different kind of roll
Simpsons Run keeps the familiar dice idea, though it feels a bit more hands-on than a regular lap around the board. Bart rides his green skateboard across a straight run of concrete tiles, and each move comes from two six-sided dice. You can tap to stop a roll yourself, or press and hold when you'd rather let auto-roll take over. That's handy during a long session, especially when you're just aiming for collectibles. Keep an eye on the dice total and multiplier display. The multiplier can reach 50x, so a well-timed run can make a massive difference to what you collect.
| Feature | Regular board play | Simpsons Run | | Route | Property board | Linear skatepark tiles | | Movement | Standard dice roll | Two dice with tap or auto-roll | | Pick-ups | Board rewards | Squishees and purple dice boxes | What to watch for
The track is more than a nice Simpsons backdrop. Every concrete square can matter, because the route is packed with event items. Frozen Squishee cups act like clear progress markers, while purple gift boxes with green dice symbols offer another reason to keep moving. A simple approach usually works best.
- Check your available dice before raising the multiplier.
- Use auto-roll for routine progress when you are not targeting a nearby tile.
- Switch back to manual taps when a Squishee or gift box is within reach.
It won't guarantee a perfect landing, obviously, but it stops you from burning through rolls without a plan. Players who save their bigger multiplier pushes for a busy stretch of tiles should get more out of the event.
Springfield in the parking lot
The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting here. This isn't just a board with a few character stickers pasted on it. Bart's route cuts through a parking-lot skatepark with wooden ramps, orange cones, parked cars, and a Springfield Police cruiser sitting nearby. Look beyond the path and you'll spot the Kwik-E-Mart neon sign, plus graffiti featuring Krusty and Scratchy. Those little touches make the run feel like a proper Simpsons detour rather than a reskinned dice screen.
Why the mini-game matters
Simpsons Run gives the crossover a real gameplay hook. It mixes short dice sessions, collectible hunting, and a route that's easy to read at a glance. If you're planning where to put your resources during the seasonal push, options to buy Monopoly Go Partner Event support may sit alongside the skatepark rewards in your overall strategy. Bart's run works because it's quick, colourful, and just unpredictable enough to make one more roll tempting.
